The University Library was established in 1890. It has moved location a couple of times since. The former library, that was finished in 1929, is one of the iconic buildings of our university. The present building was established in 1992 and houses a large collection of books, manuscripts and journals. It furthermore offers the usage of various digital catalogues, access to journals, and a place for study. For more detailed information please see the homepage of the Library (Japanese and English).
