With the greying of the population, the challenges for health care and nursing are getting more complicated. The goal of the graduate school is to cultivate students who will be capable to face these challenges both in the field and in academics.
We have the following aims for our graduates; The ability to formulate theory and methodology in the field of Nursing for Health Care Science; To combine knowledge with medical care and contribute to health care science; To be researchers, educators, and highly specialized professionals in health care.
Research at the graduate school can be conducted in a number of fields such as child, maternal, perinatal, psychiatric, geriatric, and community health nursing. Since 2011 the graduate school is furthermore offering a specialization course for Cancer Nursing Specialist (CNS).
