Research Contents |
Our mission is providing high quality patient care, conducting cutting-edge research, and training cardiologists and nephrologists. We are focusing on translating basic research to clinics.
Examples of our pioneering efforts are:
1) transplantation of autologous bone marrow mononuclear cells in peripheral arterial disease patients 2) elucidation of molecular mechanisms in developing atherosclerosis, hypertension and heart failure to identify novel therapeutic targets 3) registry and epidemiologic study of acute coronary syndrome in Kyoto and Shiga 4) mechanism of glomerular damage and peritoneal fibrosis upon peritoneal dialysis 5) clinical studies on atherogenesis in chronic kidney disease |
