The Department of Medical Education is established in 2010 for the purposes of developing medical educational programs and providing medical care to the rural citizens of Kyoto prefecture.

We provide clinical clerkship program to medical students, and resident educations rich in quality and diversity. We also support resident’s career planning throughout their university years and postgraduate. The educational programs encourage students and residents to develop their clinical skills, knowledge and experience. We have also been engage in the research and the development of regional medicine, and “zaitaku (homecare) medicine” for improvement of the availability of medical care in the regional community.
