Atopic Dermatitis

1.Atopic Dermatitis

To elucidate the mechanisms of atopic dermatitis and develop the novel method of treatment, we study the broad themes in allergic dermatitis: the role of innate immunity, the biological clock, the role of platelets, the skin barrier function, and the epidemiologic study.

2.Diabetic Ulcer

For treating the refractory skin ulcer such as diabetic ulcer, we focus on the angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis which are major factors in wound healing. We investigate the influence and therapeutic effect on angiogenesis via endothelial progenitor cells from bone marrow mononuclear cells, by drug administration, cell transplantation and gene transfer.
